Spring has sprung

This semester has been better. Friends and roommate got a lot better. A lot less drama goes on or at least less drama I'm involved in, thank goodness. My grades have gotten better. It's funny; every spring my grades shoot up. For the first month or so, my depression was worse, yet I worked harder than I did last semester. But then, suddenly, things got better. For a few weeks nothing was wrong and things were great. I got out of the depression by myself. I was back to myself and I couldn't have been happier.

Last week I hurt my knee again. It popped one night. Went to athletic trainer and he said it dislocated. Went to doctor, he said it didn't dislocate but it might be a meniscus tear. Had an MRI and found it it is just a massive build-up of inflammation. Fabulous. The last few times I've hurt my knee, I've run to the doctor thinking I hurt it and it's just a massive build-up of inflammation, which let me tell you, hurts as bad if not worse than any knee injury I've had. Now I have to go to physical therapy for the next four weeks three times a week. I have to be on crutches and take anti-inflammatories.  If that doesn't work, the doctor will look at other options. It's so frustrating. I become so depressed anytime I have an injury. I'm starting to fall back into depression, and I'm just afraid it will be as bad as it was earlier.

Though it's a lot, I'm just taking one day at a time....well, trying to at least. Spring break begins next Friday, and I can't wait to go home and relax.
