a/n: silly minifill is silly. it leaves out a lot of the bigger pieces and it really is just wangsty mcfluffy burgers. stop judging me. justin referred to in here is barthasaurus (Bartha).
disclaimer: i own nothing. never have, never will especially The Social Network, Pride and Prejudice, and Sweet Home Alabama.

disclaimer: This is a fanfiction (fake story) for a fan-pairing. This is not based on real people (in the case Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg), only the portrayal as shown in the movie "The Social Network", and even then it is stil a fan-pairing. It is not real. Disregard if you are Googling yourself.

It was cold, dark, and raining. It was the cliché beginning of every Gothic romance Jesse had skimmed during high school and college. The wind was howling and the droplets were cold against his skin that had been heated in his...Andrew's...their apartment upstairs. They might have been considered icy even. It came as a shock, not that it was raining but that Jesse was in the rain. He knew it was raining, thunder and the dot a dot dot of rain having been the back round orchestra for the fight between him and Andrew.

Even when he wasn't acting, his work still came home with him.

They had been arguing because why couldn't jesse just believe in himself and andrew, you just don't get it. stop complimenting me. It was a usual argument that they had been having ever since filming ended and award season was about to start and Jesse was just tired. So he blurted out things he had been keeping bottled up like how he had stole the water bottle sitting out by Katrina's make-up table (which Andrew had gotten blamed for), how Jesse had really hated his Justin's teasing comments about how Jesse loved Andrew, and how Jesse did loved Andrew.

Andrew had stared at him, a face full of too much emotion, before he opened his mouth. He looked so conflicted, hints of feelings and emotions swirling under the dim lighting in the house.

Jesse barely thought before he bolted, the idea of rejection going to be too much on his plate of nerves. He didn't want to hear the usual inane things people said when stuff like this happened. About how he was a "great guy" and "he loved him but just not like that" and "we're cool?" before the gentle (because nothing was rapid with Andrew, except falling for him) and quiet...nothing came. Andrew wouldn't hang out with him or nag him to take his pills or make him smile faced pancake because they were the closest thing to vegetarian cooking that Andrew could do for breakfast or-.

Jesse felt himself yanked backwards, turning from the momentum, and into warmth because sweatpants, bare feet, and thin tee-shirt in this weather was a a cause for concern for random pass byers who-

Who kissed Jesse like others had never kissed him before.

Warm lips pressed against his chilly ones, warm body, and hands spanning his waist like...like...

Like Andrew.

Andrew who Jesse loved.

Andrew who tipped him back, trying to shield Jesse's body from the elements but missing because Andrew was an uncoordinated deer. Andrew who's hair Jesse slid his hands through to keep him anchored so Andrew didn't drop him. Andrew who broke the kiss to shake his hair all over Jesse's face and earnestly say that Jesse "must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you."

Jesse just laughed and pulled him back down for another kiss, hoping that kissing Andrew would just take away the over-whelming cliché that was his life as an actor. The dark and the rain and the night part disappearing as Andrew kissed him.

(It really didn't help when Emma pointed out that people kissed in the rain in Sweet Home Alabama two weeks later after hearing Jesse tell her the story while he and Andrew sat around sick from all the cold. Jesse might have hung up and threw his cell phone against a wall while Andrew crooned Lynyrd Skynyrd into his ear, rain hitting the window plane in the back round.)

andrew eisenberg is beautiful, jewnicorn shipping, fandoms that ruin my life, jesse garfield is wonderful
