Pulse and Over the Hedge

I love the fact that country music is so easy to relate to, but the radio sure picked bad songs today... I finally had to stop listening to the country stations on the way home from work cause seriously every song reminded me of something I didn't want to think about (Granted that's that's turning into a pretty long list but still...)

On a better note, Ian! :D Went to Pulse with Sarah tonight and then we ended up going to Over The Hedge which was hilarious Both movies were good, did I mention Ian? Such pretty eyes! Especially on the big screen

So yeah I Pulse was different than I expected even though I didn't really have many expectations since um all I REALLY knew about it was that something came out of the washer and that Ian was in it (and that was more than enough to make me want to see it since just being a scary movie makes me want to see it) It wasn't all that scary, more freaky... and more scary in the idea of it than in the jumping sense... and I tend to prefer the thinking scary movies over the jumping scary ones

And Ian lived so that was exciting since I was scared he'd have the same fate as Boone (*sniff* Boone :( He deserved so much better....) He started out as a bit of a jerk and I did not like the smoking at all (some people can pull it off *cough* Sawyer *cough* but most can't and he just can't) But yeah he got better and by the end of the movie I was like If I ever had to face some life sucking ghost, I'd want him to help because he'd save my life lol

The ending was a little disappointing because there wasn't really any closure, but I guess it does leave room for a sequel... I don't remember ever finding out what happened to Tim though... I need to ask Sarah next time I talk to her or look online or something

Then yeah it was only 9:20 so we decided to head over to the dollar theater to see what was playing and we were like hey it's only a dollar lets just go see whatever movie starts at 9:45 (cause we got there at 9:30) but uh no movie started at 9:45 and Over the Hedge started at 9:30 so we decided to just go to that so we missed the first couple of minutes but I'm sure we didn't miss much

But yeah it was hilarious! We were cracking up I forgot how good little kid movies can be lol HI don't even remember what all made us laugh cause there was just so much I know the babies cracked us up a couple of times cause there was a serious scene and one of them hit the other and the mother was like Don't hit and it cracked us up cause it's not something that you'd expect in a movie but that type of thing is very realistic with kids And then when they were driving the car and the adults were fighting and they were like Don't make us turn this van around

And Hammie was great cause he was so hyper and easily distracted I loved when he got distracted by a cookie and RJ had to use a laser light to distract him from the cookie and get him to do what he was supposed to And him seeing his reflection in the car bumper and getting mad at him and telling RJ he doesn't want him (the reflection) to come along because he (Hammie) doesn't like him (the reflection)

It was just yes a very good movie... had the usual morals and stuff found in most kids movies, but yeah tonight wasn't about the hidden meanings... it was about distractions so I focused on the funny part of it and not the moral part of it lol
