Retiring the Icon
Seems to be the thing to do. Retiring Icons...letting go!
I was watching the festivities surreptitiously, in Atheism class, mostly watching the CNN screen of Dick and Lynne Cheney being loaded into a limo, and W. and Laura being airlifted out on a helicopter, the helicopter to the airplane.... and then...he gets shuffled into a hanger...NO make him leave, put him on the airplane.... watching the luncheon, did Our President actually call the Senate a bunch of white guys, oh yes he did.... finally the Airplane lifts off...the people sitting behind said I did a happy dance, nothing surreptitious about that.
