I realized what my error was with Sharon in the beginning.
I don't know if this second time will work out, with all her defenses now being raised in many ways. But to have pleased her would have required quite a bit more out of me, at least in terms of keeping her interested in me.
Perhaps it was just not meant to be, or perhaps I need to learn to be a better boyfriend.
