Table HyungJoon sighed as he sat down on his bed, exhausted from the day. He'd had a long one, and on top of that, his younger brother had pestered him to death with questions HyungJoon thought his brother knew. Or could figure out on his own. Certainly he didn't know the answers! He rubbed his eyes and got up to change.
Getting ready for bed didn't take long, thankfully, and he turned the light out before climbing into bed. As soon as he pulled the sheet back, he heard an odd rustling, but disregarded it; too many odd noises around here to jump at each one. He got in bed - and jumped right back out, brushing wildly at the stuff sticking to his back. Wearily, he went to turn the light on and stared at the granola spread between his sheets. No way that had… how had that gotten there?
It took a while to clean his sheets out, dumping it all in the trash, and then he turned the light out and crawled in bed. He couldn't think of any reason KangHo would want to do something like that, but HyungJoon didn't know anyone else who could do it - and he couldn't think of how he would had. ShinDong-sshi wouldn't, and no other telekinetics studied at the school right now.
His shower the next morning woke him a little, but the streaks of green and orange on his skin after he dried off woke him up a lot more. "What is going on?" he demanded, but no one answered. It took a bit of investigation to find colored drink mix in his towel, which explained the streaks. After a couple of attempts to get it off, he gave up.
Suzie tried to stifle her giggles, but not everyone else did, when HyungJoon sat down next to her in the cafeteria. "When I find whoever did this, I might just kill him."
"You could ask why," KangHo said, sitting down across from him, clearly amused.
HyungJoon glared at him. "Okay, why?"
KangHo leaned forward. "To remind you not to abandon your teammates," he said in a soft voice. "Petty, maybe, but you'll remember it, won't you?"
HyungJoon sighed. "I apologized for that."
"If HyoYoung hadn't watched out for us, both JongKook and I would have died or worse," Kangho said. "They wanted to either control us or kill us. All of us."
"I know that," HyungJoon protested.
"This will help you remember," KangHo said. He got up and stalked off, still clearly irritated about the situation.
Suzie rubbed HyungJoon's shoulder. "Do you want to borrow my towel, and see if you can get some of it off?" she asked.
HyungJoon sighed. "No, but thanks," he said. "Unless you can't stand to be around me when I look like this."
She shook her head. "I don't mind," she said.
"If nothing else, I'll give you a good laugh," he said, and she grinned but didn't deny it.
