"You look tired."
SungMin looked up at Kangin, and managed a smile that only made the older singer more worried. "A little."
More than a little; he looked like he could sleep for three weeks. Considering how exhausted he'd seen SungMin before, that meant something. "A little?" He settled next to the other man, and watched him watch the thunderstorm going on outside.
"Yeah. I'll be fine when I've gotten some sleep."
"Why aren't you sleeping, Ming-ah?"
SungMin gave a strange sort of laugh Kangin had never heard. "My mind won't stop working."
Kangin didn't have an answer to that, so he said nothing for a while. "Have you heard from your family?"
That strange laugh happened again, still too short for him to identify the emotions in it. "Oh, yes. I told them not to call me again."
Kangin took his arm and pulled him around to face him. "What? Why?"
"Because I don't need to hear it," SungMin spat, dark eyes narrowed in anger. "Nothing is right, nothing good enough…." He pulled his arm free of Kangin's grip, and turned back to the storm raging outside. "It doesn't matter," he finally mumbled. "I have enough family here."
Kangin leaned against his shoulder, and hoped they were enough.
