Enrichment
I almost forgot -
We had our Christmas enrichment last night.
Usually, we stay in, and hear inspiring and uplifting stories, songs, etc. This year, we went out and did service.
I went with a group who had gone to help a man move into his apartment - a few weeks ago he was in a bad car accident and the other car snapped his femur (OUCH). It wasn't the only damage; but that was the most memorable. I put his computer together, and then finished helping put the DVDs and VHS movies on shelves.
Another group went to Kathryn's house to clean, a third to read scriptures with a woman who'd lost her husband about two weeks ago, and a fourth to an elderly member of the ward, to sing and just visit.
It went longer than I'd expected - the kids were in bed when I got home - but it was lovely. I really enjoyed myself.
