Timeline
So, 
brithistorian posted an exercise on YouTube which I was unable to complete. Possibly because what I searched for didn't actually exist, I'm not sure.
Anyway, he posted about looking up in his YouTube watch history to figure out when he got into Kpop, and so I tried. No luck. I tried everything I could to figure it out, so no go. Right, fine, so I looked up when Purple Line came out. I remember getting into DBSK about that time, so I checked it out, found the wiki (and imagine my surprise when I realized it was a Japanese single. I had completely forgotten that part), and then back tracked a bit on my journal and started reading entries.
In 2008.
At this point, Taran was almost a year old (which made Elyssa nearly three and Maggie four), my friend had just lost her daughter at six years old (that was so horrible), and I was deep into writing Prince of Tennis stuff and trying to finish my first go at the
fanfic100 prompt table (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children).
I finally found what I was looking for. My first post about Arashi was 14 February - important because without Arashi, I'd never have found DBSK - who I discovered through my friend
hakkais_shadow. I met him in a Prince of Tennis rp game, and he introduced to Arashi. Well, about five weeks later, 22 March, I posted about DBSK. THAT is the start of this multi-year obsession (two years shorter than I thought, but that's okay, I'm used to being wrong, and seriously, it's still 13 years of writing Kpop).
So, yeah. There it is. The beginning of what has become such an important part of my life.
