New personal journal

Hello, this begins my first personal journal off of live journal. I've had the Soil and Eclipse journal running for a while but I figured it would be nice to have something that I can be selfish with. Granted, my time tends to be influenced by S&E quite a bit so you can expect some spill over between each journal but, that's how it has to be ( Read more... )

I had one young lady try to kiss me on the mouth out of the blue after talking for a few minutes. Naturally, I quickly turned my head... I felt largely uncomfortable and strange after this.

Criminy on a cracker, what is wrong with people?? That is just crazy. I have never understood what makes people think that that sort of behavior is okay?? I've had similar misadventures (at work, of all places) with a guy whacked out on a bit of "nose candy" of sorts (don't know what it was that fucked him up, but he definitely wasn't sober). He had been in to visit his dying mother in the hospice suite. I had been walking around, tending to residents and the like, and the guy suddenly approaches me and starts talking about buying me a pair of red dancing shoes for all the Sunday nights that he plans to take me out dancing. Yeah, whatever. Then he follows me down the hall, wraps his arm around me, and french kisses me in front of all the nurses. And what do they do? Ignore the rather obvious "get-this-guy-the-fuck-away-from-me" signals I was trying to convey, and, of course, laugh their asses off (they thought, for some reason, he was my boyfriend). It wasn't until I ran behind the nurses station and spit into a tissue a couple times that they realized I had NO connection with this man whatsoever, and that I had been rudely molested by a complete stranger. *shudder* We can only hope for the day that someone will isolate the "proper social behavior gene" within our DNA and, perhaps, find out why some people are missing it...

Wow, that is crazy. Did you ever encounter him again? It's so confusing, at least to me, to figure out what to do after something like that happens. Granted, mine was like a drunken mixed signal but yours was a complete... fiasco. Hopefully, that was an isolated incident.

Well, in regards to VISITORS, that was VERY much an isolated incident. As for some of the people who LIVE at those type of places, it is, regrettably, quite commonplace. One day I was a little hazy from cold medicine, and a RESIDENT caught me off guard and french kissed me. I was soooo grossed out. I think I brushed my teeth about a dozen times afterwards. I think I am genuinely cursed in that regard.

As for Mr. Nose-candy, the administrator got really mad when he found out about the whole thing, and gave specific instructions to the nurses to keep him out of the building at all costs. He never did come back, thank goodness. He was arrested two days later for using his house as a meth-lab. Go figure.

Well that's good that he was dealt with appropriately. Geez, I sound like a villain from a movie. Well, atleast on the optimistic side of things, people want to kiss you!
