I was going to do this when Hatter hit 10,000 comments, but I've seen it around. And it's a fun meme. And I'm bored. Whatever, Hatter's over 9,000, so close enough.

Hatter's thoughts on the other Lucifer? Or the battle Raidou had with him in general.

The other Lucifers are a sort of confusing subject with Hatter. Xe ends up loving them and hating them because they're Lucifer, but not hir Lucifer. And it starts an emotional sort of hiccup in Hatter that's really just pretty weird in general. Xe's not invested, but xe cares, except xe doesn't want to, but damn xe'd do any of them just to have done A Lucifer.

The battle itself is interesting. Hatter is kind of amused by Raidou, and curious. Xe wonders how he ends up doing all of this stuff.

Raidou's thoughts on the angels in camp?

It really depends on the angel. Raidou is quite fond of Castiel, for example, while he outright loathes Zachariah. He's mostly neutral on the rest, although one of the Gabriels got off on the wrong foot with him by whisking him into the library without asking. In Raidou's line of work, this tends to result in the other party trying to kill him, so he was not pleased. I don't know that he's met Setsuna; I think he talked to Sara once when she was turned into Doll, but other than that I don't believe they've threaded at all.

In general, he tends to lump angels in the same category with demons, since in his world they are in the same category; he knows it's something of a touchy subject with some angels (and demons), though, so he doesn't really mention it, especially to people in camp. Unless he's seven and doesn't know any better. XD

Speaking of which, Hatter's thoughts on tinyRaidou?

TinyRaidou was adorable, and full of interesting information. Such as angels and demons being more or less the same thing in his world. That was a load of laughs. Hatter will totally remember it.

What did Zachariah do to make Raidou hate him? (Though I think most people do hate him.)

It's mostly the way he treats Dean and Sam, along with Zachariah's own demeanor; Raidou is intensely loyal to Dean and takes potential threats to him, and to Sam, very seriously, even though he knows Dean and Sam can take care of themselves.

Raidou also tends to really hate people who strike at others through someone else (e.g. trying to provoke a reaction from Character A by harming Character B whether Character B has anything to do with the situation or now). It's actually something of a berserk button for him; he has really personal reasons for hating that approach and it's one that Zachariah is not averse to taking. He also thought the stunt Zachariah pulled with the panties when he first arrived was profoundly stupid and puerile. Basically, he takes Zachariah seriously as a potential threat but is also contemptuous of him as an individual.

Have I asked you Hatter's thoughts on Alice before?

You have. And I don't think it's really changed. Mostly, Hatter finds Alice fun, and sort of amusing that an Alice would be associated with Belial in Raidou's universe.

Why does Raidou like Dean so much?

Dean has sort of become a surrogate older brother for Raidou. (Canon is silent as to whether Raidou actually has siblings.) It happened gradually, so I'm not sure when exactly he began thinking of Dean this way, but when Dean got angry with Raidou for not telling him he was a summoner, Raidou was absolutely devastated he'd hurt Dean and terrified he'd refuse to speak to Raidou again. That Dean a) let him explain; and b) didn't reject him afterwards, meant a lot to Raidou.

A lot of it, I think, also stems from the fact that Dean doesn't really treat Raidou as Kuzunoha Raidou XIV, Great Summoner, and more as Raidou the seventeen year old boy who happens to be a summoner. That's not something Raidou is really used to, even now, and he kind of likes it even if he does occasionally get exasperated at being treated as, well, his age. He also likes Dean as a person, although some of the things he says and does make him wince a little.

Who do you consider Hatter's most unlikely existing CR in camp?

That's really hard to say. I don't know that any of them are unlikely, so far. Hatter's relationships with most people are so superficial and based so much on a sort of standard of amused contempt that it's hard to be too shocked by them. Momiji can be surprising, sometimes.

If anyone really develops an intimate relationship with Hatter, outside of the physical sense, I will be shocked. But I'd sort of love to see it happen.

What are your favorite type of characters to play Raidou off of?

I like playing him off characters who take him out of his comfort zone a bit, although sometimes I'm slow figuring out just how Raidou would respond. I liked having him thread with Rise when she was in camp because while they did have some similarities underneath, she was not above teasing him and he never could quite figure out how to handle it. Characters who can bring him out of his shell are fun, since he can be very reticent.

It's also kind of fun having him thread with characters who can't talk, e.g. Toothless.

It depends on the characters. Hatter is normally fun either with people who react to trolling strongly, or with other villains. Playing Hatter off Sebastian or Grelle is hugely entertaining, but then so is playing off Raph and Raikou or other people who are traumatized is also fun. Neji, on the other hand, tends to be fun to play with people who draw him out and get him to soften up. Toothless is fun for everyone to play with, really.

Ino is most fun with people who bring out her sort of... big sisterly side, where she wants to encourage people. Also, flirts. Ion, people who make him tsun. And Luffy. Oh, playing with Luffy is fun with him. XD

I think I've asked this before, but I can't remember for sure--do you prefer having the one character, and then the demons? XD I guess the demons do give you some variety.

They do! Except that they originally weren't supposed to be this active... whoops.

I've toyed with apping other characters, but I tend to have a difficult time keeping up if Raidou and even one (much less two) of the demons are threading at the same time, so I don't know how well I'd manage with another character on top of that.

That said, and keeping this entirely theoretical, what character(s) would you think I should app? XD
