I was going to do this when Hatter hit 10,000 comments, but I've seen it around. And it's a fun meme. And I'm bored. Whatever, Hatter's over 9,000, so close enough.

ASK A QUESTION it can be anything CFUD related, OOC, IC, Relationship, psychology, thoughts, whatever. I.E. My character's opinion of your character or maybe what you have been ( Read more... )

About 1/5 of the time, seriously. I normally catch it though, I think. When you asked, I had to double check to make sure I hadn't done it in this post. I am a winner, can you tell?

You only have the one character, right? Do you think you'll app more, or do you like just having one?

Hatter is from Angel Sanctuary, which is sort of a mess of pretty shoujo action romance incest weirdness. Is "lol canon" a genre?

Tell me about Miranda! What drew you to her?

I get pinged by a lot of different types of characters, I think. It's really pretty shocking that Hatter's my first genderbending character, though, because that tends to be a ping of mine. Whether it's gender identity issues or presentation issues, or characters who actually change genders, or just generally play with gender roles... it tends to be one of my pings.

I also often like characters who are snarky, or who use humor as a defense mechanism. Which makes it surprising I don't really have a character more like that. Neji sort of does some times, but it's in a very dry, prickly sort of way.

...Red heads?

What genres are you normally interested in? Fantasy? Historical fiction? Sci-fi? Things with demons? Etc. XD

POST-APOCALYPTIC FTW! Any recs in that one?

I have a post on that here, if you want to read it, but the short answer is that canon is sort of ambiguous. Hatter was born an angel, and according to AS angels don't develop a gender immediately. Hatter was supposed to develop into a woman, but couldn't stand the idea of being either male or female, so took drugs to arrest hir development. Exactly what the outcome of that was isn't ever specifically stated, aside from the fact that Hatter is sterile. Different characters seem to have different opinions about Hatter's sex, with some implying xe is "really" a woman, and some implying it's a bit more complicated than that.
