Hello, strangers!
If you were a bit confused about what I posted yesterday... it's my fault. I should have specified that I was sharing the piece that I wrote for my dear friend milk_and_glass this week on therealljidol. It's a writing contest that started out in OCTOBER with a couple hundred contestants, and Liz is now in the top ten! Understandably, her friends are pretty proud... and I was pretty flattered when she asked me to stand for her in this week's challenge, which was for contestants to select a Champion to write on a theme for them and represent them in this week's vote. The theme was "uphill both ways," hence my story. I've never posted original fiction here, so that was kind of nifty. ♥
Anyway -
If you have the chance, go read her entry for this week as well (it's amazing), and consider voting for us so that she can stay in the competition! Her entry and mine are in two different polls, but both votes go towards her staying in!
