Pirates 2 - SQUEEEEEEEE!!!
... and squeeeeeee again! Just got rid of my ex-hubby who's been here all afternoon. (Okay - it's a long story. We're actually still married, but have lived apart for 11 years, and have been the best of friends for the last three...). He's a bit-part actor who has done a couple of commercials and movies over here. He's been approached for a featured part in Pirates 2 - some of which is going to be shot in the Cape! And the best bit is, if he's cast, he can take me & the kids along... SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Apparently he's being cast because of his height (he's 6'8" tall - 2.01 metres) and he has to 'be stabbed by somebody fairly short' with a sword. My money's on Johnny Depp!!! It will be a couple of months before he knows anything concrete, but I'm keeping fingers, toes, eyes and everything else I can think of crossed... I may actually have a chance to see Orli in action on set! (Ex-hubby has a way with people... and manages to pull a lot of strings when it suits him...!). Maybe I'll even see Vig sneaking out of his room in the early mornings... *winks*
Anyway, back to rl - work is hectic, and I've got so many bunnies running around in my head I've bought a notebook to scribble them down in until I find the time to write them. I've got 5 major functions in the next three weeks and the 'silly season' is just starting. Anybody got a sure-fire hangover cure?
