Honey, I'm Home!
YeeeeHaaaa!!! Girls, I’m back in the land of the living! Finally got my isdn line installed and everything running, so I’m looking forward to catching up. I feel like I’ve been away forever… well, it has been - 6 weeks. The withdrawal symptoms have been awful! I was actually very surprised at the speed with which I got a connection as I’d been told it could take months. I’ve really missed everybody and can’t wait to see what’s been going on. I’ve got tons of reading to catch up on. *rubs hands together gleefully*
The new job is going really well - the only problem is that there doesn’t seem to be enough for me to do. Do I sit back and feel guilty about being paid a great salary for doing very little, or do I tell them and ask for more work…?
Spring has sprung with a vengeance here - we’ve already had temperatures in the high 20’s and early 30’s so looks like it’s going to be a very hot summer. My car is only a 1300 so I can’t use the aircon, and my window winder has just snapped off, so I need to get that fixed in a hurry, or I’m going to melt! (That usually only happens when I read a really hot V/O!).
I haven’t been writing much, but I do have one or two things in the pipeline, so brace yourselves. Patty, I haven’t forgotten about the boots and plunger…! *twisted little mind going into overdrive* And Al, I’m gonna spend the evening catching up on Firestorm. *drools in anticipation*
