Why Me?
Can someone please explain to me why at 4pm on a Friday I'm the only one left in the office? Everyone else is either on leave or has left early. *pouts* Just cos I only got in at 10 doesn't mean I have to be the only one left here... *sniffs feebly*
Okay, that's today's pity party over with! The reason I got in so late was that I managed to get myself invited to the Jhb premiere of Catwoman last night. Great event, shame about the movie! Lots of drinks, food (esp sushi... who'd have guessed), contortionists in Catwoman suits posing in ways no human should be able to attain, great DJ, loads of fun ... then I had to get up this morning...! Still, behaved quite nicely (only had 3 glasses ~ okay, large glasses ~ of red wine) and thoroughly enjoyed myself. But as I said, shame about the movie. I'd wait 'til it's on video rental if I were you....
Got a nice gift from a friend, The Who's Ultimate Collection double CD (if anybody else out there remembers them... I was just a kid at the time myself, honest!), so been bouncing around the office on waves of nostalgia all day.
It's a long weekend this weekend *Yeehaas around the desk* - Sunday is National Women's Day, so we get Monday off. Shame the other 354 days of the year are all men's days, hey?
Back on Tuesday - have a great weekend!
