Yuletide Letter

Dear amazing, fabulous, talented yuletide writer:

I wasn't too picky last year, and I will be less so this year. I just want you to have fun writing this story, that's all.

I enjoy stories where it is clear that the author has put a lot of their attention on the small details that push the story, the characters, and stir a reaction from the reader. I have no problem with fluffy stories, gut-wrenching tales, or stories drenched in drama, but I also enjoy stories that are subdued and sparse in language.

I like witty banter but also have been known to melt even with commonplace dialogue that's written well. Good dialogue in general (the kind that is believable and doesn't feel like it's just there for filler purposes) makes me happy.

I enjoy stories that are structured in unorthodox ways and do not mind POV changes and other experimental devices.

On to my requests!

Junjou Romantica: I would really really really like a story about Misaki and Shinobu meeting (wherever you decide). The rest is up to you. They can get a long, hate each other, have awkward cutesy sex. If these characters are not your cup of tea, anything about the characters I requested is fine. I love this fandom and just want something nice to read.

Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi : Whatever your heart desires. I just finished watching the first season, and was really left wanting more interaction between Onedera and Takano.

Figure Skating RPF: I was thinking about Yu-Na/Mao or Nan Song/Yuzuru Hanyu. Yu-Na/Mao is so rare that I don't care what the story is about or how slashy it is. For my second request, I'd really love to see a story about the two boys noticing each other at Cup of China, Yuzuru thinking, omg be my boyfriend please, and Nan Song thinking to himself, when did Yuzuru get so hot? and holding hands backstage and going out for dumplings and having teddy bear fights with the gifts from their fans and wow, I'm getting really invested in this, aren't I?

What I don't like/DNW: babies, pregnancy, character death, character bashing, Patrick Chan, song-fic, non-con,

What I do like: beautiful descriptions, magic, unicorns, kisses, lolzy shenanigans, music references, well-dressed characters, elaborate descriptions of food.

I hope that I've given you enough room to write something that you are comfortable with! Have fun, and thanks in advance. I am confident I will love whatever you have for me.

yuletide
