Car Update
Picked up the car this afternoon.
managed to get
rego extended for 3 months
4 brand new (REAL) tyres, not the 'remoulds' he was trying to pass off as 'new' tyres
$300 off in order to change the timing belt (at our cost so we can get people we trust!!)
various little things fixed up
brand new hub caps.
After driving back to my parents (a few suburbs away) for coffee and chat, I left to pick up Jon.
less than 5 minutes down the road the phone rings and its Mum saying that she'd noticed one of the hubcaps appeared loose as i was driving off.
I stop the car, and saw that the stupid thing had already fallen off. We found it, but not before someone else drove over it. Immediate phone call back to the dealer.
Also, he hasn't fixed the seal on the two front windows, and the noise of the air coming through them even at 50km/hr, is REALLY ANNOYING!!
So I guess it'll have to go back... probably tomorrow or saturday?
I don't have time to take off work for this crap.
