Cats: or people who have the souls of cats, are reincarnated cats, are catboys who actually act like cats, whatever. BASICALLY Greece seems to ~naturally~ attract cats, a nod to the actual country's stray cat population. Obviously if you are some kind of cat or cat-person, you DON'T have to feel any sort of ping, but if you'd like to, the avenue is open! This can also go for people who have been ruled and turned into cats. You don't have to ask permission, and he gives good pettings~
Nation: Greece represents the modern nation, so his history goes from Ottoman occupation on. His mother was Ancient Greece/The Byzantine Empire and has been gone for a long time. :'( So if you're inclined to ping on nationpeople, then that's what he's got going on. Also, the cross he carries with him sometimes represents Mount Athos, if you would be sensitive to that sort of thing, but it's really just a normal cross.
