[Floundering a bit with her words. She can refuse to be driven out of the room she picked, but she can't take a single night with a stupid, harmless TV. So much for being brave.]

[A cold trickle of ice spikes in his gut at that, leaving him with an uncomfortable feeling. Pity, fear, helplessness... he knows how much it must be hurting her pride to admit this. He swallows, and speaks with a dry mouth.]
