Idle hands while socializing this weekend? A charitable organization, the Orphan Foundation of America, is collecting hand-knitted scarves and mufflers until January 31, and giving them to college-bound orphans as an act of love. Unfortunately, to get it to them in time, you'll have to be quick.

It says that they're accepting donations at some Einstein Bagels locations, but I'm not yet sure if any locations here in town are part of the project. I'm inquiring with the folks at orphan.org now.
EDIT: They tell me that it's all Einstein Bros. locations, so get your knit on today.
