We turned the corner, my best friend, my mother and me.
We checked the bank
and we caught a bus.

Theres only so many words that can be said
Breaking away is more of an understanding
theres 10 minutes left on this bus ride
to catch a time
to catch a ride
to catch a cold.

I turned the light switch off in my bedroom
There are bodies in all of the corners
troubled, with lifeless eyes.
I plugged in my christmas lights
It's not quite christmas.
Conversation is dull, along with the lighting.
But it's the closet we will come to the sun tonight.

Theres more time swimming in my veins
than time left to comprehend it all.

and after the day had died down
I turned the light switch on in the bathroom
The mirror set off a certain glow of the child I use to be
Hints of sun in my eyes
Of days when I spoke in lighter tones
This is all leads me to believe I miss
That One green garden.
