No sooner was Abdel out the door than Glinda found herself on her back, a grinning thief planted firmly on top of her. Undignified - beyond undignified! - and no doubt she was supposed to protest, but really, she had been deprived of positively anything to do with Imoen for far too long.
"Did he tell you where he was going?" she managed, and found herself smiling foolishly when Imoen's expression became even more wicked.
"Talking to the barrier. Again." He hadn't gotten out of the habit. Maybe he enjoyed trying to outwit it. Glinda neither knew nor cared. She didn't want to escape, and really, how likely was it that Abdel would be able to sweet-talk the Director into letting him free? "He'll be gone for hours," Imoen murmured in her ear.
It didn't take anywhere near that long for Imoen's shirt to be off and Glinda's dress to be hiked far higher than she'd ever allow in public. She'd paused to enjoy the sight of soft pink hair spread across her pillow, one hand holding Imoen's shoulder down so that she might eventually stop squirming and just present ever such a gorgeous picture for a moment instead of trying to topple Glinda over and kiss her until neither of them could think properly. Which was, truly, a positively marvellous idea, and if it hadn't been for the cabin door opening again -
She'd never seen anyone's eyes so wide. "Oh," Abdel said, and then again, quieter, "oh."
Glinda decided she was most certainly going to die on the spot, and her death would definitely be hastened if Imoen's hand crept any further up her thigh. And really, her girlfriend did need to stop smirking like that.
"We're kinda busy," Imoen told her brother, who blushed almost as red as Glinda was certain she must personally be. He fled, the cabin door banging loudly behind him. Glinda closed her eyes, the better to beg mercy from Lurline. Sweet, kind Lurline, let him have a sudden attack of amnesia. Let him be struck dumb. Let him think he was hallucinating. Let -
"He won't be back for a bit." Imoen sounded insufferably smug. She sat up, wrapping her arms around Glinda's waist.
"You said that before." And if her words came out a little breathless, really, who could blame her?
"Guess he might be listening outside the window," Imoen said thoughtfully.
"Why, whatever fo-" Glinda started, and then Imoen's mouth was doing something unbearably delicious along her neck, and just like Abdel, all she could say was "oh~"
