Movies and TV shows I've seen recently (January edition)
This issue includes:
Merlin (finale season 5), Firefly (whole season), Elementary (up to episode "M"), A Young Doctor's Notebook (whole season)
and contains spoilers for all of them.
Firefly
I've never seen Firefly, can you believe it? Lots of people say it's one of the best shows ever and I completely missed it until now. I admit it took me a few episodes but then I really liked it. Captain Reynolds and Inara, aww. ;)
I watched the movie afterwards and didn't like it at all. Too much explosion, too many characters dying I cared for. Bah.
Elemantary
I'm not totally hooked, but I like it enough to watch it regularly. Highlights being Holmes crashing the car in the first episode and setting out to torture "M" with his mad grin and pockets full of dubious equipment.
I don't believe Irene is actually dead, of course, and she might as well be one of the bad guys. He won't be able to cope with that, I think.
So well; potential.
A Young Doctor's Notebook
I admit I like black humor a lot and this is a brilliant show. There is no other way to say it - brilliant.
Who would have thought Radcliffe had it in him?
