the sunshine state

I could go on and on and on about the trip, but I'd probably bore you all to death :x hah
In short, Queensland was AWESOME!

the area I visited was more natural vegetation and bungalows rather than Surfers Paradise-esque beaches. Basically nobody swam at the beaches near Palm Cove, and if you did it would've been within a puny netted square of ocean. Too many deadly jellyfish! And near to the reef where Steve Irwin died :x
So yeah. Holiday was full of hiking rather than sunbaking! Did get to go snorkelling for a day on the outer reef, though, which was amazing to say the least. (I don't have any of those photos yet as they were taken on a disposable. Effort getting them developed. Also, some are.. rather embarrassing) The Daintree rainforest up there is really cool (pun unintended); oldest in the world. Dinosaurs saw the very same flora, 130 million years ago - very, very surreal place :)
Anyway, before I get carried away, a couple of snaps from the tropical north :D

inside a semi-submersible boat. If the disposable is half-decent, the actual in-water photos should turn out a lot clearer/brighter.. hopefully
