So, I have created a few pieces having to do with chakras like, the
Guiding Light Mandala, the
chakra representation chart.
People are finding the art and are wanting to use it or buy it or whatever. One woman wants to buy postcards of the chakra representation chart in bulk (which I already have and am willing to sell them to her).
Another woman has just emailed, said that she liked my art and wanted to know if we could "work together in some way." She is putting together a chakra scanning worksheet for Biomagnetic therapist's, and she is looking for images to paste onto their form. It sounds to me like she wants to use the images I created. Now on the one hand it's nice that they're asking before they use them and on the other hand, I am not sure how to charge for them since they will be using them for materials for which they charge other people. IOW, if they wanted them for their own private use, I'd not have any trouble with them using my art, but because they want to use them professionally, I feel like I should get some compensation for them.
So, long story a bit longer, how would you think I should charge for good quality files sent to them for their use in their own stuff. Certainly, I'd get credit for the art on the piece (small but there, etc.) and a link to the Healer's Arts site, but I have no real idea what to charge since I am not particularly an artist in this way and have no experience in the arena.
