wow.....pain is a bitch
Allright so I had a total blast this weekend at Frostbite :D
Got there saturday around 12ish to be greeted by way more people than i thought would be there, including Paul which made me really happy cause of the really depressing morning/previous evening i had suffered. Got all of my things unpacked and browsed through the kitchen to see if everything was there that i needed for the evenings meal preparations. Hung out for the afternoon then got food ready for 50 some odd people ^-^ so much fun, i really do enjoy amtgard because of this. Paul, Patti, Julian, Shane and I went out to the huddle to play some pool. Not im my original plans but when Paul mentioned it i was like "pool....non drunk bardic....pool.....non drunk bardic...." pool deffinetly won that round easily. Saturday night I did NOT freeze my ass off!! YAY for a male bedwarmer/cuddler :D
Sunday morning Stacey made everyone yummy blueberry pancakes, i didnt even have to wait in line for mine because Lenny got to full and couldnt eat the rest of his which was just enough for me :D.cuddle time with Paul, and Sandy, Mike jumped in on the lounging at some point in the morning also. MASSIVE CUDDLES!! Lanky made everyone lunch of spaghetti and meat sauce which was actually pretty good, could have used a little seasoning but not everyones a pro at it. Watched a game of Munchkin and played a very retarded game with a roll of tape.... Company battle rolled around and i fought with the Caradoc Hold Malitia consisting of Bill, Katie, Jeremy, Steve (maybe??) and I. We were just in it to have fun but actually came out of it with two flags. Sadly this is where i ran into a problem......in the last 10 seconds there was a mad scrabble for two flags which i wound up at the bottom of. I grabbed said two flags and was getting up when my back of all places got stomped on rather hard. Now anyone who knows me knows i have pretty bad back muscles that are nicely twisted. The whole stepping on said twisted muscle tissue? yeah almost passed out in the snow. Sean and Jeremy/Paul had to drag me back to the building because i couldnt even freaking walk.....i feel like such a loser! So i had no choice but to lay down for a little while to alieviate some of the pain in my back, of course i was walking around like a bloody cripple for the rest of the day which makes me feel like even more of a loser. Packed up the stuff sometime around 5 and headed back home after our goodbyes to the people that were left.
Today has been such a fucking painfull day, everything i do makes my back feel like its on fire and i cant afford to go back to the doctors. That and I have gone back to sleeping solo which sucks ass cause now its cold in my room.
Went to see Hannibal Rising tonight, I must admit when i saw the previews for the movie i was setting up for dissapointment because they looked bad. After seeing the movie im somewhat satisfied. There are things they could have improved on for sure but all in all a good one.
