this is me super excited!
OMG! So I just signed papers for a new car today! The first car that I am purchasing on my own! Ok this is how the story goes- I let Robert borrow my car yesterday and after work he drives up in a 2002 Impala. I was like um...where's my car and he goes well hopefully this will be your car. He knew my car was going to shit and back (well actually it was only going to come back from that state with me putting a lot of money into it). Anyway so I went to the dealership today and talked to them, settled on a monthly payment, that includes a service package and road side service, and signed papers. The only thing left now is to switch the insurance to full coverage of this car, and get the title of my old car sent to them. woot. again this is me excited! do you people realize soon I'll be driving around a car that actually has air conditioning. yeah i thought you'd like that too.
In a way this kind of stresses me out too. Not necessarily the money stuff, because really I can afford it, I just can't be stupid about my money this year. Its just that this seems like such a huge deal- like so adult. OMG I'm becoming an adult. Again, I think I'm excited. Now if I could just keep up professionally, for example actually type up my resume, that would be great.
