Not the best sewing job I've ever done, but I'm proud of my sweet craigslist find. The ad said their dog "developed a taste for foam," but I didn't know the damage was that extensive. Of course, $50 for a couch that retails $499 was too sweet to pass up. Plus, the couch is super comfy. Any case, the tear was at the seam and it was easy -- though time-consuming -- to repair. The stitching is actually visible from the outside, which isn't supposed to happen, but I'm okay with that. I have so much on my plate that I'm fine not being a perfectionist for a few things. Besides, it was fun playing Ms Fix-It. ^_^
