wow, i cant believe it has been almost 2 months since i have updated this... (but i guess thats what happens when work is crazy, you have 3 weeks off, then have to catch up on all the work that wasnt done when you were on holidays when you get back, and you have no internet at home!!)
christmas was CRAZY busy (as usual) but actually went ok- no big family arguements this year, everyone was nice and civil...
new years was ok- not great, but ok- actually, now that i think about it, i am always disappointed with new years! maybe it is because you build it up thinking its going to be such a big great night, and then you get where you are going only to realise it is so busy that you cant move, it takes twice as long as normal to get a drink from the bar, EVERYWHERE has cover charges and surcharges, the city is full of drunk 16 year olds trying to get in everywhere, there is lines for EVERYTHING and it is impossible to get a cap... hmmm, maybe i wont go out next new years :D
holidays were really good though... it was nice to have some time off to not do much...
my bf and i started looking at apartments- getting sick of sharing a house, and since he has a new job and is earning more, he can afford to move out of home, so hopefully soon we will be in our own place... it will be nice to have some more space... i wish we could afford to buy a place! but hey, its a step in the right direction...
