I finally splurged and went to Fry's and bought a monitor cable and keyboard and mouse for my computer, even though someone could have brought me all of that next weekend.
I also figured out that my monitor can go up to insanely high resolution (IHGA) (1920 x 1440). It's only just barely readable on this monitor, but it's kind of nice to have all that monitor real estate. I think I'll keep it like this.
I'm eventually getting rid of this monitor and I'm going to replace it with a flat panel. This sucker takes up way too much space in my apartment. Maybe I'll use some money I got from family and splurge for something nice, hopefully nice enough to watch movies off of (30" LCD? =D)
or maybe I'll save my money in case shit happens, like I can't find a job forever
I'm tired and excited at the same time. the thought of a 30" LCD makes my head spin and heart beat (not as much as when I see Erin, but still)
