Aha, New Year with people you like. How novel. And good.

Going to see Will & Lyra's bench is well cool. I might, at some point.

It was fabby. The dinosaur biscuits were totally It.

As for the bench, I think today was the special day when they met up again, new year's day. I oughta check. Very little competition for the bench says it might have been another day.

I like that no-one now knows who the two women commemorated on the bench were. That has got to be the best memorial ever. Like a Tomb Of The Unknown Solider, but with walk-on parts in literature.

And, I always thought Will and Lyra's bench was somewhere other than there...but then, benches are too similar to each other...very misleading. Benches need to be more individual. You know, a gold stripe or two never hurt anyone...if you see any defaced golden benches, it wasn't me ;)

I went there on the actual day but the Botanic gardens didn't even know!
We asked then when we went in, to see if there were any special events going on but no.
A reading might have been cool but then I would have had to weep buckets again.
