Deadlines and tension within DI make for a sad, stressed Chrissy. So far, my winter break isn't turning out to be much of a vacation. SO MUCH WORK TO DO.
Still woe-ing about art,and thanks to everyone who's put up with my whining this past week. Though things have gotten a little
Benen for Vanessa, because she gave me shitload of crazy sexy art of truly awesome proportions this week (none of which I was able to turn into decent LJ icons, frustratingly enough, they all die in the shrinking & cropping process ;~;) . <3<3<3! Used the same method as last time, though the lines turned out thinner by accident. The hair and the coloring were the hardest bits to do, and I still don't think they came out as well as they could've. Eh.
I've gotten tons of new music lately, most of which I've yet to listen to. Still haven't managed to listen through all of the CDs Jordan has given me (sorry), or to any of Bonnie's (sorry x2), or to all those Radiohead cds my sister got for me... and I got myself a Funker Vogt cd and will get getting a new Tin Hat Trio cd soon. Not to mention I just got assloads of various mp3s of Gogol Bordello and Corvus Corax and Flogging Molly and DeVotchKa (not to be confused with The Devotckas). Eek. I need to get my ass and ears in gear.
And, um. I'm cold and I don't have anything else to say. TA.
[edit:] If you don't know who Faith Erin Hicks is, you're pathetic totally missing out. At any rate, she's churning out some kind of kickass Western-themed comic collab, and I highly suggest you take a look-see, as she's inarguably one of the best comickers in the online world out there today.
