it's been a long time, eh?
sarah told me to update this journal, for goodness' sake.
so
charlie went away to school in boston. dan was our drummer for a while before moving out to new york and then he helped us find ryan who's still playing some drums for us. tim's back in the band. debbie is living the animator's dream life. andrew currently enjoys wearing scarves to protect his neck from viruses and reading up on the abacus. i have been painting the walls of my apartment and wondering if the higgs-boson will finally be found.
we wrote new songs and played them for our friends. a kid named joey drove for hours to see us in long beach but couldn't find the place and saw us at the knitting factory instead. i turns out, he's friends with one of my oldest friends--super neat.
another kid named jessie visited from san jose and got turned away for being one year under the legal age of alcohol consumption. this made me and everyone else sad so we're trying to set up more all ages shows cos that's the way it should be. it's unfortunate that the only shows we're being offered aren't so 1984 friendly.
band goals: show in sf, show in sd, record an ep and tour the western u.s.
