this frightens me conceptually:
the united states military apparently doesnt value the lives of iraqi civilians enough to even TRY to keep a body count. i can kinda see saying "well we have a round number but in a situation like this its really hard to keep it strait numerically, as we have no idea whose who and we're not always sure whats going on anyway." that i can see. but it seems very very callous to just say "well were not even going to bother to try to keep a body count cause frankly we dont care."
im sure people will disagree with my reading of this situation but hey. 1st ammendment. bite me.
