This is the confusion that happens when my mom tries to talk about things she doesn't understand:
(1:20:34 PM) Mom: can you send it to Ariele and have her get it to them?
(1:20:56 PM) me: what?
(1:21:09 PM) Mom: your paper
(1:21:16 PM) me: what are you tlaking about?
(1:21:22 PM) me: why would i send my paper to ariele?
(1:21:35 PM) Mom: I wassurmizing from your away message that the law sschool computer was down
(1:21:38 PM) me: no
(1:21:43 PM) me: it has nothing to do with the shcool
(1:21:46 PM) me: westlaw is down
(1:21:50 PM) me: its one of our legal databases
(1:21:53 PM) me: so i have to use lexis
(1:21:56 PM) me: and i HATE lexis
(1:22:00 PM) me: its not user firendly at all
(1:22:05 PM) Mom: oh
(1:22:09 PM) me: and i have bookmarks for the things i need in westlaw already
(1:22:13 PM) me: because i never use lexis
(1:22:35 PM) Mom: well, boston did get hit pretty hard by snow
(1:22:47 PM) me: ok....?
(1:22:54 PM) me: but what does that have to do with westlaw?
(1:23:03 PM) Mom: people may not be abloe to fix things that are down
And eventually I managed to get her to realize that Westlaw is a national company, that has nothing to do with BC other than that we have a subscription, and that it is not controlled by BC.
