The idea of you gives me shivers still. I can feel the body heat hissing out from miniscule holes on my person I have not yet patched up entirely, or missed the first time around.

You are right - maybe righter than I ever expected you could be: I asked for whole parts of you that might never have even existed. But I didn't know better. Or else, I did and thought it was what you needed.

I still get shivers: not the good kind that reminds a person how to be warm in the winter, but the kind that keeps them cold though they are beside a fire they built themselves.

I have been building fires and keeping warm in an attempt to "forget" and "hate" and whatever else comes with "Heartbreak." I have been learning with my hands for the first time in a long while. Learning how to gather wood, how to stack the kindling, how to keep the flying embers from burning down a house.
