"You could at least laugh evilly once in awhile."

Amu's eyebrows drew together as she frowned at the short demon. "Why would I do that?"

"Because you're my vassal."

"And?"

"Che, come on. You can't tell me you've never wanted to do something evil before."

Silence. Amu just folded her arms across her (thankfully flat) chest.

"Stealing somebody's money?"

Silence.

"Laughing at someone's pain because of how stupid they look?"

Silence.

"Even punching that guy who calls you Washboard--"

Amu visibly twitched, and Laharl smirked, knowing he had struck a nerve. That was it. She just needed the proper nudge (or shove) in the right (or wrong) direction, and she'd be evil in no time at all.

"I believe that LOVE and PEACE and FRIENDSHIP can conquer everything!"

... Wait, what? Surely she hadn't said that in such a cheerful voice, and-- were those sparkles surrounding her?? For someone who usually took such a ginger approach to things like that, she sure was enthusiastic now.

"...."

"Open up your heart, Laharl! Let the love in~~! I know you can do it! ♥"

".... Have you been hanging out with Flonne?"

Amu winked, and Laharl couldn't get out of there fast enough. The minute he'd vanished from sight, she dropped her perky smile and sighed.

"Ugh, who knew having to listen to Eru rant for hours about that stuff would ever pay off?"

Deep down, though, she had to admit... that had been evil. And it had also been fun.
