"... Have you ever cooked before, May?"
"Once!"
"... Ah."
"But don't worry, I can definitely handle it!"
Famous last words. It only took ten minutes before the place was a mess (smoke and various globs of food were everywhere)-- and the cook didn't look much better. Still, May's smile hadn't diminished a bit and, while Saber stared at the horrifying scene with a look reminiscent to one who had just watched the massacre of adorable orphans, the younger girl offered her a plate.
"Dinner is served~!"
Saber wasn't sure which was the truly terrifying thing: the mess May had left in her wake, or the fact that the food was actually delicious.
"May, by any chance..."
"Hm?"
"What happened the last time you cooked?"
"... Oh." The pirate girl gave her ponytail a sheepish tug. "I kind of set the kitchen on fire and Leap kicked me out. But the cookies turned out great!"
Saber silently reaffirmed her opinion that May was A Very Strange Girl.
