Fakir honestly wasn't sure how he'd gotten stuck in this situation. He remembered the little doll coming over to say hello. And constantly having to tip her head back to look at him. And him eventually feeling bad for how much effort it apparently took her. So he'd picked her up.

... And now it had come to this. Hina Ichigo was comfortably settled on his head and occasionally giving it little pats, as if to remind him that she was still there.

As if I could forget. She hasn't stopped talking since she's been up there. Well, it wasn't as if there was anything preventing him from lifting her away. Just--

"Fakiiiir?" Hina scootched forward and let her head dangle over to peer into his eyes. "Will you tell Hina about the magical dancing duck again, na no? That one is Hina's favorite!"

Fakir sighed, more from the strain of trying to hide a smile than out of actual annoyance. "Once more, and then you're getting off my head, got it?"

"Mm!"

Twelve hours later, Hina was napping comfortably up there and Fakir gave up and just let her be. At least he'd be able to smile without her noticing now.
