OOM: Back Below Shanghai

It was odd. As soon as the door to Milliways shut, it disappeared. The wall just turned to dingy cement and there was no way of telling there was ever a door there. Later, when I showed the place to Konstam- well, anyone else probably wouldn't have believed me. It was just a wall again and nothing more. In fact, the only way I was able to find it again was by the marks left from the explosion and all the dead rats leading up to the wall where I slipped through.
We didn't have much time to talk about it while we were down there, though. As soon as I was through I came across one of the other hunters, Markesh. No one was expecting any sort of explosions down there, at least yet, so the grenades Laura tossed through rather rattled everyone. Thankfully, that included the Swarm Demon. We had a chance to regroup and have the city workers close off some of the gates throughout the tunnels, to seal off some of the swarms of rats so they were easier to deal with. That was finally when the authorities let us start using explosives- I swear, they don't know how to do this sort of thing, yet they're always trying to tell us what we should and shouldn't do.
By looking over the maps, and the locations where some of the bodies had been found, and also where we had all been in the tunnels and where most of the swarm was, Konstam was able to pinpoint an area the Swarm Demon would be holed up. It was just... really hard to get to. Konstam always says that demon hunters aren't supposed to worry about getting their hands dirty in order to do the job, but I don't think I like sewers much.
The rat the Swarm Demon was possessing was mutated and monstrous beyond believe. It was nearly the size of of an Achshund but still as fast as a normal rat- or even more so. And there were still plenty of the other rats it was controlling all about. Markesh and Signore Finch were there to help us, thankfully. They covered Konstam and me while we went after the Swarm Demon, or else we would have been eaten alive.
After it was all done- with the clean up, and checking in with the medics, and giving the final report to the authorities- I was going to tell Konstam what happened at Milliways. Specially about Raguel, and what Coyote had told me. But there wasn't any time to tell him about all of that before we were called to deal with another demon, before we were even able to go back home...
