They were right- no time really passed from when I left. Or just a few moments, anyways- There was still plenty of crashing about, with Konstam and other people shouting, and the demons yelling as well.
I don't know what Konstam thought, but the demon that grabbed me must have figured I was done for. Its back was towards me and it was attacking Konstam, and the other demon- the one that had possessed someone- was coming over to see what the ruckus was all about. I had been grabbing for some demon wire when I fell back through- I have no idea why it happened that way, why I was able to back then. Anyways, I had the demon wire out when the possessing demon was charging over to help the other one. It must have thought I was too injured to do anything as well, so it hardly even looked at me.
I got the back of its leg- and made sure it didn't drop on me like Laura said- and got it wired before it knew I wasn't hurt.
Konstam was shouting for me, trying to find out if I was alright and also where I was. He obviously couldn't shoot the other demon until he knew where I was, so I wouldn't end up shot by mistake. I yelled to him I was clear- and he shot and killed the other demon. I mean- he killed it once, the physical part of it, you see. The spirit part managed to escape, and Konstam didn't take the time to go after it and kill it a second time. He came over to check on me- he thought I was going to be hurt much, much worse, and he was surprised I wasn't injured at all. I didn't have time to tell him about Milliways and why I wasn't hurt, right then. We had the other demon to take care of first, but at least it wasn't a danger any more- at least, not to anyone else asides from the person who it had possessed.
I didn't get to tell him until we got back home.
