Currently at a netcafe in Panjim, India. It's near the Southwest coast of India and is known for having heavy Portugese influence (a holdover from the colonial days).
India has been very hot and humid, a lot like Singapore except that it is not nearly as clean or technologically advanced. Driving is also INSANE, which is why rental cars actually come with drivers. :P Lane markings are heavily ignored, everyone (including pedestrians) butt their way in traffic, and the horns are a necessary item to be used every 5 minutes - either to let someone know you want to pass them or not to ram into you. Electrical wiring we've noticed is frightening, yet there are still things like net cafes and cellphones everywhere. There are lots of stray dogs and lots of random cows, some of them wandering along roads with no apparent supervision.
Oh and prices are REALLY cheap. A 1L bottle of water - $0.50. A decent (not fast food) meal for two people - $7.50. Netcafe for 30min $0.50.
Anyway, time to let Wes use the computer for a bit before we go to dinner.
