Hello there,

I just wanted to say that I'm enjoying this fic... I'm wondering where it's going to head next -you've got an interesting plot going on here. :-)

It's a nice continuation to the film as well (although I had *big* issues with the film, especially with the Luthor plotline, I still liked many parts of it). Like I said, I'll be eager to see the rest! :-)

Thanks for letting me know! I wanted to wrap up some issues from the movie even though, like you, the Luthor plotline didn't always sit well with me. If everything goes well, I might get the next chapter finished before the weekend!

I'm afraid there'll be more anxious moments before you get relief. But that's what a serialized story is for, now, isn't it?

And, yes, Richard's in for some hard times. So are they all, I expect!

Hey, ho! Super!Beta reporting for reviewing.

I took note of the subtle ways you took my suggestions into consideration. Sly there. Excellent.

I think you might actually have the first version of Richard actually leaving (well, he's kind of leaving) I've read! Most of the time it's told in past tense, or alluded to only. Very nice. Loved the packing of the bad and the flight away.

And isn't it interesting that this other 'throw-away' story seems to connect to Luthor now? Fun ahead!

Your suggestions were very helpful! I didn't know that from the prequel comics so I should definitely check out the whole source.

Richard's not completely gone, but I thought that a man could only be pushed so far before reacting in one way or another. And he's not tied to Metropolis nearly so much as Lois, so a trip away by seaplane (I even double-checked to make sure there's a seaplane airport convenient to DC) seemed a good way to give him some distance.

Anyway, great update. Poor Richard. He's such a good guy but we all know he's got to go.

I love the first four chapters! This story is great! What's the deal with Lex? He freaks me out!

I'm hoping that chapter five will be out by the weekend. Unfortunately, after that, updates won't be coming quite so quickly unless real life cooperates!
