OP here: Oh wow, it's really late where I am, but I just finished reading this. You filled my prompt quite wonderfully. I felt terrible for Watson throughout because of his worries and his insomnia. Poor thing had to have such difficult pregnancy and Holmes was so good to him throughout it! I want to give them both hugs. Thank you so much for the fill!

Hi! This piece is really super amazing and I love it, but I did have a question. The language indicates that it is set more towards Doyle's Sherlock period, but the presence of Mrs. Hudson reminds me of present day BBC Sherlock, so what time period is it in?

Mrs. Hudson is part of Doyle's written work about Holmes, so she is present in many adaptations (including the BBC's Sherlock). This particular piece is set in the Victorian period (the original time period).

And thank you!

This is an amazing story!! The writing technique that you have is brilliant and I love the perspective that you have written it from! Many other writers change the perspective throughout the story but I loved the way you had a consistent narrator!!! Loved it!!!!!!! :)
