it's official
It's just what I thought. When the contract ends, they're not going to replace it.
So my last day at my library will be Sept. 27.
Unless, of course, I find a new job that would want me to start sooner than October. Which is technically possible at this point, though my job hunt efforts thus far do not instill confidence. :-p
I'm glad it's out there and official so we can all admit what we knew all along. But I'm dreading the fact that things are going to change whether I like it or not. I don't really like change when it's happening, just when it's over and I can look back and see that it all turned out okay.
