I came home from work to an 84-degree apartment. It is *still* 84F in here, three hours later, despite open windows and fans, because it's still 82F outside after reaching nearly 90F in some areas ( Read more... )

It sure has been a wacky year, and it's only a quarter over! Part of me is cynically predicting that we'll get hit with a hurricane in a few more months and have record-breaking flooding to go along with our other weather anomalies... :p

Yeah, starting on Thursday (there's a chance of rain/storms) and really kicking in on Friday. It can't come soon enough for this miserable Northerner... :p

Parts of DC (and certainly VA) are warmer than MD, I think... glad I'm not there. ;) (I do live in MD, actually, though I generally just say 'DC area' for those not familiar with the multitude of MD suburban cities. :p

I had ice cream for dinner. ;) (I gave Jeffrey some tuna that was in the fridge, too, so he wasn't left out.)
