Debate - Math - And Procrastination
I went to a debate tournament this weekend - against my better judgement. See, I had never debated in that style, nor had I competed against people significantly greater than me in skill.
So I walked into my lion pit, and walked out alive. Annoyed, but alive.
As it turns out, I did siginigificantly better than expected =D
Out of the 3 skill levels (I'm the lowest), and the 100 people that went to the debate, I ranked 32nd as a speaker.
32nd.
Thirty-fan-bloody-tastically-second.
I know, 32nd. However, it is a incredible feat for me, since all the other tournaments I went to I ended up ranking horribly, and doing horribly, so I just assumed I was getting worse instead of better.
Math finals are coming up, and I've discovered the manga bleach! ^_^
It has caused me to turn into a 'squeee'ing fangirl.
