I just basically made myself too late for cs to even go, but I was missing my ID card, and without those you don't eat or check out books. so I searched frantically around my room, tried to remember where exactly I had last had it, which was dinner, rpu, called their office, left a message, continued searching. searched under the bed and in the closet and tore apart my backpack and the space near where my comp is right now and every pair of pants I've worn for the past week, possibly on the off chance that it magically crawled there and died.
finally, as I was searching the pair of pants I wore monday for the fourth time, I realised that I hadn't checked the back pockets of it. I was just about to, when I realised that it would be far more effective to search the back pockets of the pants I was wearing last evening, aka the ones I'm wearing now.
sure enough...
so that was a wasted hour of panic and moving furniture about.
but at least I'll be able to eat lunch...
