Classes have slowed me down a bit, tho. :/

I'm only taking two classes a semester, because I'm sticking with my full-time job. It actually made finals pretty stress-free, cos I only had to study for two.

My public speaking teacher turned out to be completely worthless. I ranted about her in the Church whenever she pulled something particularly retarded, but what it boils down to is that I paid $900 to learn how to get an A in the class and nothing more than that.

It was extraordinarily disappointing, because I was really looking forward to finding out what they had to teach me about public speaking, but no ... what I got was a teacher who made it a point of pride to come to class unprepared, and who made us play 3rd grade word games for the sole purpose of entertaining her (she admitted this to me privately).

The reason I bring that one up is because the workload was excessive on that one, given that it was a 100-level general ed course. o.O So I feel your pain.

OMG. That is retarded. :D I hope you got a chance to do a class eval to complain about that.

My teacher wrote up a syllabus that had us turning in draft speech oulines on the same day as giving the speeches.

She only realized when she encountered the first one of those scheduling gems in class how idiotic that was.

Also: she never bothered to give back/go over the midterm AT ALL, and we only got back our self-evaluations from the second speech (given the last week of SEPTEMBER) when we were walking out of the last class of the semester.
